             Freida Selena Pinto is an Indian actress and model. She rose to prominence playing the role of "Latika" in the 2008 British Indian drama film "Slumdog Millionaire". Pinto won a Screen Actors Guild Award for Outstanding Performance by a Cast in a Motion Picture for her role in the film. Since then she has appeared in a number of British Indian and Indian American productions.
In 2009 she became romantically involved with Dev Patel, Slumdog Millionaire co-star, with whom she is currently living. She has extended her support to the "Agassi Foundation", a philanthropic organisation started by Andre Agassi and Steffi Graf which looks after providing education for deprived children.
