 India’s first superstar Rajesh Khanna who famillar as Kaka’, ‘Anand  has gone away from us forever.We lost a great Bollywood actor at July 18, 2012 .The actor starred in more than 160 films, including hits such as Kati Patang, Aaradhana, Anand and Amar Prem. Rajesh Khanna’s last words- `Time ho gaya hai, pack up'.

In twitter, Dilip Kumar wrote that 'Death is just the end of life, not a relationship. Rajesh will be missed dearly.'


Lata Mangeshkar said, “I was pained to see on TV the visual of Rajesh Khanna on the funeral pyre and I couldn’t help and remember those golden days when no other star but only he ruled the industry.” On a nostalgic note, Lata added, “Rajesh Khanna would always be very polite and we used to enjoy his company every time we had a get together.”


Bollywood megastar Amitav Bachchan (69), posted on his blog after visited Rajesh Khanna`s house yesterday to pay his tributes that 


"...As I sat at his home this (yesterday) afternoon, to pay my respects, soon after learning of his passing away, a close functionary of his, came up to me and told me in a choked voice what his last words were - `time ho gaya hai ! Pack Up!`

  "Rajesh Khanna gave us a crash course in Romance. He introduced us to a special twinkle in the eye that made us feel good about ourselves."

Actress Shabana Azmi tweeted:
  "He was the SUPERSTAR like no other. Did 10 films with him. Met him last at Apsara awards. Pale shadow of himself but smile as winsome."
